SHORT BREAKAWAY (Sembilan Islands) ★★★★

“Planned a short break for my 2 kids studying nearby. Didn’t get our expectations high, as viz for this part of Andaman (heavy shipping) wasn’t great and made worse from the weeks of continuous rain. Can’t say it turned out better than expected mainly from 2 good points. Macro was good, as the guys (Mark & Phillip) keep surprising us with unexpected small stuffs. More importantly, these guys know the locality, the waters and the weather there.”

– EJ Lee (Penang, Malaysia)

PADI OPEN WATER REVIEW (Pangkor Island) ★★★★★

“The team delivered the course in a very professional manner whilst still achieving a really friendly approach. Safety was given the respect it needs.”

– Ben Brown (United Kingdom)

DIVING IN PANGKOR (PADI Open Water course) ★★★★★

“It was really awesome, although terrible visibility! Thanks for everything!”

– Dillan Hoyt (Wales)

GOOD PLACE TO GET DIVING LICENSE (Pangkor Island) ★★★★★

“3 full days

day 1: theory lessons and equipment induction

day 2: pool dives and first sea dive

day 3: full day on boat with 3 sea dives

Very good instructors! Lot of fun! Visibility very bad, but good for learning how to dive and getting the licence! Highly recommended!”

– Sebastian (Germany)

INTENSE BUT HIGHLY ENJOYABLE COURSE! 🙂 (Pangkor Island) ★★★★★

“Over 3 days, everything was covered and we learned so much while having fun. The theory was perhaps a little tiring but essential, and the theory test actually reminded me of important details I’d forgotten. The 2nd day training in the pool was helpful with building confidence but some skills were quite difficult e.g. losing your scuba kit and putting it back on. However, the final day with the open water dives was unforgettable; putting on the scuba equipment, backwards entry into the sea, practicing the skills and use of compass. Just being on the boat when it was sunny and the 10 minute float test were super fun too. The lunches provided were nice, the instructors extremely funny, friendly and welcoming, the only downsides were the poor visibility conditions and lack of sea-life, although I understand that this was training and now we’re prepared for future sea-dives. The sunburn and bites in the sea were quite painful but these things are temporary. On a final note, the t-shirts are incredible and a massive thank you to the instructors for their dedication and organisation. We all had a fantastic experience. :)”

AOW COURSE AT LUMUT (Pangkor Island) ★★★

“The team at Quiver were great, but the dive spot wasn’t fantastic. Vis was generally low and we didn’t get to do much (especially hearing from mates how swell their experiences were for AOW). I wouldn’t recommend this place for recreational diving. Food is also a bit of a distance, so you would probably need to drive. Otherwise, it would be really hard to get around. Given that we were here mainly to complete a course, I guess it was OK.”

– Sam Choong (Ipoh, Perak)
